3cad is a CAD/CAM product conceived and developped by
the Consortium 3cad, having put together the experience of
the years-long activity of its partners in the furniture and furnishing industry, either in the R&D of
software products or in their implementation in the various production environments.
Responding to the always growing needs of the industry,
3cad, besides being a graphic design tool, it is as well an original and simple ERP tool which fits
successfully in the
production flows where a significant number of variants
(dimensions, finishings, materials, special conditions, etc.) are present.
The data base is made of "rules" which generate the components
of the piece of furniture putting them together according to well
defined assembly specifications.
As a consequence, bill of materials are exploded taking in account
all the variants and production documents, drawings, and files
for N/C machining centers are provided automatically.
3cad in its version /Industry is used by some hundreds of produ-
cers of kitchens, systems, office furniture, etc., while its version /
Retailer is used by many thousands of points of sale.
Thanks to these results, 3cad is becoming more and more the leading design and estimating product in the branch.
3cad is available in 5 languages (italian, english, german, french,
spanish).
